How do I download the app?
Download the app on any mobile device. Search “Scooter Ding Ding” in the app store.
How do I find a Scooter?
Once you are in the app, a map will show you the nearest scooter.
How do i unlock a scooter?
You can unlock a scooter by using your mobile device to scan the QR code on top of the scooter.
How old do I have to be to use the scooter?
If under 18, you must operate the scooter with a protective helmet.
If under 16, you may only operate the scooter if you are under the direct visual and audible supervision of another adult who is responsible for your immediate care.
No person under 14 may operate the scooter.
Where can I rent a helmet?
You can rent a helmet at one of our hubs:
Coldwater & Company in Water Street parking lot next to Wake up and Waffle.
How do I pay?
You pay within the app.
What do I do with the scooter when I am done?
When you are done with your ride, place the scooter upright with the kickstand down. You must park scooter at a Scooter Ding Ding designated parking location in order to end ride. Be respectful of private property and pedestrian walkways, driveways and entryways.
